Sales Agents
Are you thinking of a career in Business Brokerage? Talk to us about the industry and your choices. To be considered as an Agent for ConsultKAP, Inc., the following are initial requirements: Absolute Integrity: You will be expected to abide by a strict Code of Ethics, which will include: We do not mislead prospective sellers regarding the value of their business or the relative probability of a sale in order to get a listing. We are honest with Buyers and Sellers in every circumstance. We honor our commitments, return calls and e-mails, and respect others' time. Credentials: Business Brokers or Sales Agents in GA are required to be Real Estate licensed in the State of GA in order to sell a business with a lease, or any other Real Property. You should have some business experience, working with people in person and on the phone. You should have a working understanding of basic accounting principles, P & L's and Balance Sheets. You will need to be able and willing to join professional associations, such as GABB, and maintain continuing education in business brokerage. Skills: You should be able to think flexibly and creatively in problem solving. You should be patient and able to work with many personality types. You should have at least "good" if not "excellent" computer skills-- at minimum MS WORD, Excel, and E-mail capabilities. You should be self-motivated and hard-working, and able to keep your own schedule and meet your commitments independently.

About the President (Photo at Right) Kathryne A. Pusch, President of ConsultKAP, is a seasoned professional consultant and broker. Kathryne began her career consulting for a large international consulting firm in 1979. Since then, she has worked successfully within the framework of large corporations, and small enterprise, across a broad range of industries, private and public sector. Kathryne has owned and managed two small businesses herself, in addition to her successful business enhancement and brokerage practice. Her consulting work focuses primarily on preparing businesses for a successful sale and her intermediary services focus on helping individuals and companies who want to sell or acquire a business. Kathryne was the 2003 President of GABB, the Georgia Association of Business Brokers, is currently on the Board, and has been since 1998. She has extensive formal education, including a BS and MBA, and continuing education and certifications in many fields related to business operations, business planning, and business transfers. Kathryne is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Instructor, a RealtorŪ, a frequent speaker, and an instructor for Barney Fletcher Schools.
